Wrecking Crew Sweeps Springfield Mile

There was an overflow crowd at the fabled Illinois State Fairgrounds mile race track as the Illinois Motorcycle Dealers Association hosted round ten of the eleven round AMA Ford Quality Checked Flat Track Championship / AMA Grand National Twins Championship. Young Bryan Smith topped the eighteen rider field on his Screaming Eagle, Moroney Harley-Davidson, XR-750 Harley-Davidson.
